Sextet de jazz swing basé à Paris, le Jacks’&’Jills Swing Band interprète de grands standards swing américains des années 20 aux années 30. Il propose un répertoire varié des grands compositeurs des années folles tels que Duke Ellington, Fats Waller, Louis Armstrong, ou encore Billie Holiday. Un seul leitmotiv pour ses musiciens : transmettre leur passion pour cette musique et replonger dans l’ambiance des grands bals swing de l’époque !
Le Jacks’&’Jills Swing Band se produit régulièrement en France et à l’étranger pour les danseurs de Lindy hop , de Charleston et de Balboa, à l’occasion de festivals et de bals swing. En 2018 et 2019, le groupe a donné des concerts au Caveau de la Huchette, à la Bellevilloise, à la Nuit Swing, et au Ballydehob Jazz Festival en Irlande. Depuis septembre 2022, le groupe se produit notamment tous les mois au Chantier, à Montreuil.
Le Holy Lollies a déjà eu le plaisir de les accueillir pour sa 3ème édition. Nous sommes impatient·es de les retrouver pour cette nouvelle édition.

The Jacks’&’Jills Swing Band is a Paris-based swing jazz sextet that performs classic American swing standards from the 1920s and 1930s. Their repertoire features a variety of works by major composers of the Roaring Twenties, including Duke Ellington, Fats Waller, Louis Armstrong, and Billie Holiday. One guiding principle unites the musicians: to share their passion for this music and immerse audiences in the atmosphere of the great swing balls of the era!
The Jacks’&’Jills Swing Band regularly performs in France and abroad for Lindy Hop and Charleston dancers, at festivals and swing balls. In 2018 and 2019, the band gave concerts at the Caveau de la Huchette, La Bellevilloise, La Nuit Swing, and the Ballydehob Jazz Festival in Ireland. Since September 2022, the band has been performing monthly at Le Chantier in Montreuil.
